23rd May 2017 – Frankie will be part of a benefit gig in aid of two of Cardiff’s refugee centres, The Trinity and Oasis Centres, taking place at Cathays Sports and Social Club, Cardiff, CF24 4HS.  Entry £8/£6 concessions.  Please come and support this much needed cause and enjoy a range of Cardiff musicians and singers.

18th Cardiff Sing For Water,

Frankie will be part of this event to raise funds for International Water Aid.  2 years ago it raised over £30,000.  This year there will be even more participants, over 800 singers.  Lynn Denman will be singing a beautiful welsh song and Frankie will be joined by Joan Mills in a song devised by themselves.  For more information https://singforwatercardiff.org

23rd-25 Street Choirs Festival in Cumbria

6th July – Frankie will be travelling to Australia, and will be there until 7th September.  If you need to contact Frankie during this time, her phone number in Australia is 0061 410 709 506.  Frankie will be heading to Singapore during this time, to give workshops to the students at La Salle theatre school.  She will also be giving a workshop at the international VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association) conference.  In Australia she will be teaching at the National Institute of Dramatic Art on the MA in Voice and for the acting students.  She is also hoping to be running  The Voices of the Archetypes of Myth workshop in Sydney on 2nd and 3rd September.  Further details will follow.

Exciting events for the New Year 

In January, Frankie will be spending nine days as vocal coach for The House Bernarda Alba, with the extraordinary Kathryn Hunter in the lead.  This is a Graeae Production opening at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester with previewing on February 2nd, 2017.  This play by Garcia Lorca has long been one of Frankie’s favourite plays with its all female cast and extraordinary power and its language and imagery.
Later in the year Frankie will be teaching at a theatre performance school in Singapore and running a workshop at the VASTA conference which is being held in Singapore for the first time.
Frankie has also been invited back to teach on the MA Voice at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia, aswell as her regular stint on MA Voice at Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
